Visa Application Form

Required are the following:


  • Original passport must be valid for at lest six months before the first day of arrival in China. You must have at least one blank visa page in your passport. (amendment pages are disallowed).
  • You’ll need a completed visa application with your signature or a signature by someone who prepared your application.
  • One recently standard passport-size, front-face photo. Self portraits or those taken with home digital cameras require extensive photography knowledge and are not recommended. Please go to a passport photo center like those found in camera stores or at Costco or the US Post Office.
  • If you are not an American citizen, a green card is required, along with your passport.
  • Payment which must be made in the form of cash, money order or cashier check. For money order and cashier check, please make payable to: China Century Tours.

Visa Fee Adjustment for U.S. Citizen – effective June 1, 2010.

According to the instruction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the visa fee for U.S. citizens will be increased from $130 to $140 per person, regardless of the types of visa applied – Notice from the Visa Office of the Chinese Embassy in Washington, DC.

The Standard Charges for Visa Service is $140 per applicant ,  plus $30 CCT service charge).

  • FedEx Fee: $25.00 (Additional) Fee for your passport return by FedEx.

Mailing Information


  • Contact us for special processing requirements if you hold a passport or travel visa or documents from Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan.
  • The Consulate General of China will normally keep your passport for seven working days.
  • The Consulate General of China will be closed for Chinese holidays. These holidays are often different from the American public holiday schedule. In such cases, please allow extra time for visa processing.
  • The application for a visa may be declined if the applicant fails to provide true and complete information on the visa application form. The applicant shall bear all the consequences arising as a result of incomplete or missing information.
